"I am very pleased to recommend PeopleFit USA to organizations interested in improving the health and wellness of their employees. Over the past several years in our relationship with PeopleFit USA, at a large hospital in Southern California, the dozens of employees who participated in the program were very pleased with their progress and results. The program attracted employees who needed to address health and fitness issues in their lives and provided an alternative to all the “mainstream” solutions. And, it complimented a number of programs we already offered. It also offered employees, who lost significant weight from Bariatric Surgery, a means to create some healthy habits. The majority of employees who participated reduced body fat and cholesterol as well as achieved and/or exceeded their personal exercise goals.
We received excellent feedback from the participants and a number of employees chose to participate again or to work with PeopleFit USA independently. I believe that PeopleFit USA offers a unique solution to assist those employees who need encouragement, coaching, and accountability towards setting and achieving health and fitness goals. For the person who doesn’t exercise at all and needs to get started or the person who wants to take their fitness routine to the next level, this program can meet all those needs."

“We brought in Heather Moreno to present to our employees on exercise motivation at our bi-monthly Academy class. Heather's enthusiasm and practical approach to fitness was well received by our employees. She offered solutions and ideas that made sense and helped motivate us to find ways to fit exercise into our busy schedules.
Her presentation is not about making you feel guilty for not doing enough, but rather shows you how to focus on your strengths and successes and how to make improvements that are realistic for your situation. Her infectious personality helps you to believe in yourself and your ability to get fit and stay fit.”

“Dear Heather:
Thank you for participating in our local office training last Thursday. Your enthusiasm is magnetic! The information presented was very useful, and I know everyone walked away a lot more informed than when they arrived. You clearly have an in depth knowledge of your industry and, having someone familiar with our industry who can relate to the challenges we face to keep healthy and fit was a bonus. Your style of presentation encouraged the participants to open up and really learn from what you had to share. We appreciate and enjoyed the time you spent with us.”

“We hired Heather Moreno to launch our monthly Lunch & Learn series. Her presentation of “The Best Shape of Your Life” was interesting and the information quite useful and practical. Our employees thought she was very knowledgeable and an excellent speaker – each employee was able to take away something significant to them individually. We would definitely look to bring her back again.”

“Before I started the PeopleFit USA Wellness series I was not in tune with my own ability to “identify my hunger.” I was just eating because it was the “time of day I was supposed to be eating,” or “everyone else was eating.” I decided to participate in the program because it sounded different than a “diet program.” What I liked best about the PeopleFit USA program was that there are no quick fixes and no rules. It teaches you how to make a lifestyle change.
This program is different from any other program I’ve tried because I wasn’t told what I could and could not eat. Instead I learned how to recognize the signs of hunger and fullness, which in turn helped me to eat more appropriate portion sizes. As a result of this program I have lost 10 lbs. I would recommend this program to others because it teaches you life lessons, not just how to be on a diet!”

“I used to be very active, but got busier over the years. My activity level gradually declined and my energy with it. I exercised periodically, on for a week or two and then off – nothing consistent, and I really didn’t enjoy it. But as happens, I noticed myself getting a bit “soft” and knew it would only get worse if I didn’t do something about it, so two years ago I joined the PeopleFit USA Employee Fitness Program.
I needed motivation and wanted to know the right things to do. What I liked most about the program is that I had tools to measure, actually see, the progress I was making. Tracking my heart rate helped me to understand how my body responded to exercise and how to change my routine. Tracking the calories I burned made it clear how important any bit of extra activity was to my results. It was especially motivating to see that I could burn same amount of calories in 40 minutes of exercise that would otherwise take me all day long to burn.
This program was a big help mentally. While I used to feel that exercise took time away from other responsibilities, like my family, now that I’m into the routine I view it differently – I spend my time more wisely. I really do have the time to exercise. As a result, I feel much better and it helps me all day long with all of the other things that are important to me. I now enjoy exercise and actually feel like something is missing when I stray for a few days.
In the two years since participating in this program, I have consistently exercised four to five times a week! I have four daughters and feel like I’m doing this for them too. I’m setting a good example and can see it having an impact in their lives. We recently all took up tennis together and this has added another dimension to the time we spend together.
I appreciated most that there was never any pressure from my coach – no guilt when I didn’t meet all my goals, no pressure to be “perfect.” In the gym environment I’ve always felt pressure to do more, like I needed to compete with everyone else there. Using the fitness tools to measure heart rate and calories burned, I learned to compete with myself, and win. I recommend the PeopleFit USA Employee Fitness Program to anyone needing the motivation to exercise and the know-how to do it right!”

“My exercise program used to consist of an easy ride on the stationary bike once or twice a week - needless to say this was not getting me the results I wanted. I needed help and I knew it! But I didn't want to go back to an in-my-face fitness trainer at $70+ an hour who could not help me with the complete package: an overall program to help me reach my goals.
The PeopleFit USA Employee Fitness Program is different - while we were often encouraged to exercise more or harder, it was within reasonable boundaries. I liked that my personal coach made suggestions appropriate to me as an individual. As I am more of a couch potato, she suggested trying (just trying - no huge commitment!) one class at my gym or an exercise video instead of training for a marathon. At the gym, my trainer just wanted me to do more and work harder, using what seemed to me like a pre-set list of exercises that didn't really fit me personally.
The PeopleFit USA Employee Fitness Program taught me what I needed to do with my exercise program to start seeing results. I now exercise far more - three to four times per week on average, compared to my previous one or two. I received a lot of education on a variety of fitness topics and how to apply that information to my specific situation.
The personalized approach and the forgiving spirit were critical to the program. We were taught to forgive ourselves and move on if we blew it with exercise or eating. This way we didn't just throw up our arms and give up.
After the program I was thrilled to learn that my blood pressure, which my doctor said had been steadily rising this last year, is now at a very good level. And, my weight and body fat are moving in a downward direction for the first time in two years. This is great progress - and I am confident that I can keep it up.
In my experience, this program was far more reasonably priced and far more personal than a gym trainer. I absolutely recommend this program to anyone who needs help with their fitness program.”

“I’ve never been a fan of diets because they deny me the foods I am accustomed to eating – the foods I like! I’ve also never been very motivated to start an exercise program. But, I knew I wanted to be healthier and, mostly, I wanted to stay healthy and not develop the afflictions that so many people take for granted as a natural part of aging. I decided to join the PeopleFit USA Employee Fitness Program because it appealed to me in a personal way, and fit nicely into my budget.
The program helped me bring into perspective the work/exercise/life balance and to find more logical ways of getting fit and losing weight while still being me. It also helped me to gain back control of my health, weight, and life by making me identify what I really wanted to achieve – and why it was important. This made the process easier.
The best part of the program was the relationship with my personal coach. She supported me to make the changes I needed to make in a manageable way and helped me to recognize the progress I was making. I lost 5% of my body weight throughout this program, and no diet required!
I think it’s necessary to look deeper into ourselves before we can become fitter, healthier, or lose weight. Weight loss actually becomes a side effect of getting life under control without dieting. I believe anyone can achieve their goals with the PeopleFit USA Employee Fitness Program by using the knowledge, tools, support, and understanding provided – I most definitely recommend it!”
